I went for my monthly OB check-up today. Everything is great with the baby. All the test came back perfect. The nurse wanted to do a quick ultrasound to check the rate of the baby's heartbeat. She said there was another lady in there but as soon as the ultrasound room was free she would get me in there. So I was reading Pregnancy Magazine in an exam room and the nurse pops her head in the door and tells me to come with her quickly and that the woman in the ultrasound room had to go to the bathroom so she was going to sneak me in there! It was pretty funny, the poor woman's clothes were draped over a chair and by the way when I came out after the ultrasound, the lady was already out of the bathroom standing around in the not so modest looking gown waiting to get back in. (oops) BUT that is not the story here! What I wanted to say is this! In the quick ultrasound I got to see the baby again and hear that precious heartbeat. The baby looks more like a little tiny baby rather than a blob. Just as I am making out the head and body a little mini-baby arms reaches out and WAVED AT ME! I am so serious! I laughed and the nurse said "Your little one just waved at you!" It was so sweet. Amazing. What a little character already! You can tell he belongs to Sergio!
I did not know they would do an ultrasound and Sergio was at work, so he was a little bummed he missed it! But something special for Mom.
Sigh.

Awwww!! Lulu that is TOO FUN! I can't wait to meet your little one :)
Isn't seeing him/her the best!!!?? That was a fun surprise for you :) Keep us updated..it won't be long and you will be feeling those precious kicks!
