Park It

Sergio, Matteo and I went to the park in my parents neighborhood yesterday with my parents, my niece and nephew.  Matteo clearly had the time of his life!
Conquering the slide...from bottom to top!
Our family!  I'm 18 weeks 3 days (yesterday I was)
Take 2
He loves swinging!  And really, I mean, who doesn't?
I was sitting on a bench and Sergio was standing in front of me looking across the park.  I said "Sergio!" to get his attention to look at me so I could take his picture but instead of turning to look he stepped to the side to get out of the way or something...lol so when I said "hey, you! husband!  I'm takin' your picture!" this is what I got.  Isn't he handsome!  :)
We cannot get enough of this boy. I love him so much it hurts sometimes. He's awesome.
He is really communicating a lot now. Pretty much no one can understand except for Sergio and me but that works for us! He is saying the following words: Mamamama or Ma, Dad (Dah), Gagagaga (Grammy-my mom), Hotdog (Hotdahh) (from the song at the end of Mickey Mouse Clubhouse), Bird (birr), Dog (dahh or wuuuf wuuuf), Nooooo (of course!), he is always nodding his head for YES!, airplane (ah-pane) and a whole bunch of other random words!

What can I say about this? hehehe

Baby Names

It's Baby-Namin' time!

Baby A
The first little buddy outta there will be named

&

Baby B
The youngest SQ will be named

(Paulsen is after my Dad, Paul.)

We have had names kind of picked out for a while now but it was getting overwhelming to pick names before we knew they're boys.  Picking two girl names, then two boy names and from those also chosing a primary boy name and primary girl name in the case of a boy and a girl.  We stopped thinking so hard about it a few weeks/months ago and decided to think about it again once we found out the sexes.

We were thinking about a different name than Marco, but it just wasn't sitting well with Sergio, and I was a little uncertain too.  When I suggested Marco instead his face lit up and I knew we both felt better about it instead of the other one we had.  We never planned to have them all have "M" names, but it worked out that way!

My parents are in Italy right now, celebrating my Mom's 60th Birthday and I got an email from my Mom this morning saying this:  "Hey...Dad just chatted up the lady in the ceramic store for baby names??? Who is this man? The 'in' names for boys in Italy now are: Matteo, Massimo, Marco, Cosimo, Alessio, Frederico, Niccolo, Jacopo...enough already. You're only having twins, not quints!" hahaha Good to know that we did our jobs well in getting some authentic Italian names as planned.
