It's What the SQ's Are Doing

It seems like everything and nothing is happening all at once.  I don't know if that makes sense.  The boys are all the sudden doing so many things and definitely growing and changing.  I feel like I'm always busy, but thankfully, it's a good thing.

Matteo has started licking everything.  This morning I saw him lick Marco's back, my leg and my face.  And that was just for starters. He also likes to take his shirt off.  I guess it makes him feel manly to walk around shirtless?  Funny thing, this morning he tried to take his shirt off but I guess he didn't realize his pj's were a one-piece so it wouldn't go over his head because they snap at the crotch.  Oops.  Twas cute!

Marco has two teeth now.  That first one is really out there and the second one just barely peeking through.  THEN...He also started crawling this morning.  He made a good effort the other day but this morning it's on!  It's still that army crawl type crawling, but it's crawling for sure.

Massimo is also crawling.  He is teething but not crazy teething like Marco.  Massimo is a laugher, smiler, giggler.  Got to love these boys.

The twins have dropped their small morning nap.  They had stopped sleeping so well at their mid day/afternoon nap (the important nap because that is also while Matteo is napping) so today, I let them stay awake until noon and they did great.  Matteo went down shortly after that.  They also stopped sleeping good at night so I'm working on that as far as how much they eat and sleep during the day.  Hopefully we can get them sleeping better at night.

They are all doing well at Mother's Day Out.  The first few days were an adjustment but it's going good now.  They actually switched Matteo to another class for reasons not really because of him, but reasons that were affecting him (I guess you could say) and now he is in a quieter calmer class of slightly older kids and he is not withdrawing like he was in a classroom with a lot of commotion.  His new teachers are great.  I cannot speak highly enough of the twins teachers also.  Such sweet ladies.

And, as for me, I'm doing good.  Sergio is still doing night feedings so I am not as exhausted as I could be but by the end of the day I'm pretty much always pooped.  Some days worse than others.  Some days, I don't know how I will go on to make dinner.  Somehow I do it though.  I don't nap during the day at their nap time because I'm simply not tired then.  I relax sometimes, but don't sleep.  If I needed it, I would do it.  Everyone says "cleaning can wait, sleep cannot" or something like that but clutter breeds confusion for me, I cannot handle a disaster-area of a house.  I'm not a neat freak, but being here at home for such a large percent of my time...I need some order.  Tangent.  Sorry.  Anyways, I recently took a position on the executive board of my mom's of multiples group (NWHMOM-Nothrwest Houston MoMs) (if you are a mom of multiples you MUST be a member of your local group! It's great. Great moms and great resources).  Anyways, I'm the new newsletter Editor.  My first edition will be November.  I'm excited about it!  Fancy. Should be fun, I like doing that kind of thing.

And, one more thing.  Last and certainly not least.  I will be starting/attempting to potty train Matteo in the next few months.  I'm nervous/scared of it.  Haha.  I would love your thoughts, suggestions (and prayer!) on potty training.  PLEASE share your own experience with me.  Where do I begin?

Ready? Go!

Well I can't give you any advice on potty training. Hoping you will be able to give me the advice in a few months but I wanted to agree with you about the clutterness of the house.

I usually clean when Jocelyn naps because I am such the type of person that if the house is messy then I'm messy (emotionally and mentally). Does that make sense?
